Stuck- 1st challenge

Here is the 1st sketch for Stuck this month. Stuck are doing a joint challenge with Frosted designs, there part of the challenge is to use ink mist or paint.
This is my take on the challenge, I used ink to stamp some script onto the background paper and mists to colour parts of the bottom part of paper and of course I turned the sketch on it's side.

Here is my take on the sketch, the photo is of my grandson playing in a sandpit, I stuck to the sketch fairly well as I usually do, I made the dots on the background with gesso and added a bit of colour by rubbing some gelato over them.

scrap the boys

Here is my entry for scrap  the boys, the challenge theme for January is to scrap "something new" I choose a picture of my grandson attending day care where he learnt something new, Art!               here he is with his crocodile masterpiece.

O.K here is my interpretation of the stash challenge!

I have used 5 buttons

4 black enamel dots

3 tags 2 white one grey

2 washi tapes green chevron and black ruler

and my rubon are the black circles with the numbers on them
