white with 1- September
Yet again another photograph of my beautiful granddaughter as a tiny baby, this is one of my favourite photos of her, look how she fell asleep on her mums lap after a feed, with her hands crossed so adorable ! perfect for this months challenge at white with 1, an easy challenge for me as my favourite way of scrapbooking is very girly pink and pretty!

Stuck- August
Here is the sketch for "Stuck" for this month, I usually stick to sketches closely for challenges, but I have broken out of my usual and made a mixed media page using photos of my grandson, I love it when babies start to walk and they have chubby bandy little legs, and once they can walk they never stay still!

123 challenge- august
Here is the mood board for this months challenge at 123 challenge blog.
This photo is rather special, this is the first " kangaroo cuddle" my daughter got to have with her 1st baby, who was born a little early and with respiratory difficulties was airlifted to Sydney, her poor little face looks rather bruised and she still has the remains of tape stuck on her face where tubes etc where held in place on her face, but a beautiful picture all the same.

sassy scrapper
Here is the mood board for Sassy scrapper august challenge.
Here is my take on the mood board, a picture of my granddaughter pointing to her 1st wobbly tooth at the age of 5. I had fun with some mixed media to add the pretty mood board colours to my page, I then added bits and pieces from my stash that matched, I wanted to do some stamping but my black ink had dried up, so I found some old rub ons instead!

Scrap the Girls
For this months challenge at "scrap the Girls" paint and texture paste are the requirements.
I took a dark wood grain paper and gessoed over it to lighten it then I used a wood grain stencil and spread texture paste over that, then I painted with water paints blocks of colour, not very noticeable in the photo, then splattered some more paint over the top, then covered up most of it with paper and embellishments, my photo is 5 years old of my youngest daughter hugging her niece.

Off the rails Scrapbooking
This month's challenge for Off the rails scrapbooking is a mood board.
Here is my take on it!
I used a picture of my husband and myself taken just before our eldest daughters wedding, the photographer told us to look at each other "like we still loved each other"! so of course that made us smile at each other, resulting in a natural photo instead of a pose!
I had the right coloured papers in my stash, but achieving the glittery blue was a bit more difficult. I put ink on the pieces of chipboard then used embossing ink then I sprinkled on what I thought was embossing glitter then using the heat gun to set it, but I had used ordinary glitter and it blew everywhere, realizing my mistake and a few choice words later I put glue on the chipboard then glitter and let it dry giving me some pretty glittery pieces to use!

show us your stuff July
This is the mood board for Show us your stuff for July.
Here is my take on the mood board, I went through my stash and found what I could in similar colours, a photo taken of my grandson last year is the subject, not exactly a winter photo, but the colours match anyway! for my handmade items I cut out with my silouette machine the words that say "they saw" and the oval around the other cluster on the right.

Off the rails scrapbooking
Using fabric from the stash in the cupboard is the challenge from off the rails scrapbooking,
well my fabric came from a box in my bedroom, a box full of UFO's { unfinished fabric objects} I found a cute little patch work square I had made a few years ago, that I have put it to good use by making a scrapbook page out of it, there is also some muslin and calico in there as well and a little piece of ribbon.
